Mark Abrahams


Mark joined the charity in 2001 as Head of Saints Foundation, having previously worked in the Leisure industry managing a number of Sport and Leisure facilities to maximise community participation. He oversaw the development and growth of the charity through to 2014 when he took up the role of Director of Commercial and Community Partnerships within Southampton Football Club.

Having been involved with the charity for such a period of time, the natural next step was for Mark to become a trustee of Saints Foundation and he was appointed to the Board in December 2014. Mark is the current Chair of Trustees.

Paul Bolwell

A lifelong cyclist and snowboarder who would describe himself as being ‘average’ at Football. A season ticket holder for well over a decade – Paul was introduced to Saints Foundation in 2013 following a desire to support local charity. It was the SaintsAbility Plus initiative that started his involvement and he is extremely proud to be associated with the Saints Foundation and will openly admit to being hugely inspired by the work they carry out and continue to achieve within the community.

After ten years of being part of the founding trio behind, Paul stepped down from the business after the successful sale to Bridgepoint. He is now involved with several businesses that combine his love of the sports industry and technology.

Tina Croucher

Tina Croucher is Assistant Manager of Relate South West Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, part owner of Carisbrooke Shipping PLC and official Tour Guide of St Mary’s Stadium.

Starting working life as a Nursery Nurse and Primary School Teacher she decided a change in direction was needed and completed a degree in Event Management 4 years ago, her Dissertation Title compared the work of Manchester United Foundation and the then League One Saints Foundation.

A fanatical Saints Supporter and a keen love of charity work; her life with The Saints Foundation goes back to the day of Saints in the Community. She has passion for all that The Saints Foundation deliver and support within the local community and being born on the Isle of Wight loves that the charity stretches to these parts.

Any spare time is spent with her 3 grown up children, walking the dog and following Southampton FC around the UK and Europe. A lover of all sports (though not so keen on rugby!) and using them to create positive environments for all is very rewarding to see.

Rod Jackson

Rod is non-executive Chairman & majority shareholder of the UK leading Event Technology Company Etherlive limited; in addition, Rod is also a shareholder & Director of “Swindon Property Services” and a proud Trustee of Saints Foundation.

A strong business administration and finance background has seen Rod undertake a variety of roles including the Chairman of Business South from 2013 – 2015.

Rod joined aap3 in January 2008 as President & CEO after serving as non-executive Chairman of the Board since 2005. In February 2015 Rod took up the role as Executive Chairman in addition to his CEO remit. Rod left aap3 in Sept 2015 as part of a managed exit through an MBO buy-out process.

Prior to his role at aap3, Rod was Vice President of Global Client Services at Cisco Systems. Rod Joined Cisco in April 2001 as Vice President & CIO EMEA. In June 2005 after leading the globalization of Cisco IT, Rod became Vice President of Information Technology responsible for IT Shared Services. In January 2007 he expanded his responsibilities bringing together client technology, shared services & worldwide IT support to form Cisco’s first IT Global Client Services group.

Before joining Cisco, Rod was 17 years with Intel Corporation his last role being Worldwide Operations Director for Intel Online Services. Prior to this, he served as Intel Regional IT Director for Greater Europe, which included all business functions within the European theatre (Sales and Marketing, System and Component Manufacturing, Design Engineering).

Rod commenced his IT career at “Raychem” Corporation (now part of Tyco) and prior to this spent five years in commercial banking with “Lloyds Bank Plc”. He has also been an industry technology board advisor to Intel, HP, Cable & Wireless, and BT & has been a sought-after Keynote speaker at many leading IT & telecoms events globally.

Rod is married with three children. He is qualified in Business administration, Finance & Banking, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.

Toni Shaw

Toni Shaw is the Director at Sequoia Consultancy Services which provides guidance and support to trustees running charitable trusts. Formerly a successful Marketing and Business Development Director in IT and Telecommunications, Toni changed direction and joined the voluntary sector in 2004.

After taking a Master’s Degree at Roehampton University in Voluntary Action Management, her first role was as Business Development Director at the National Council for One Parent Families, now Gingerbread Families. In 2007, Toni become CEO at the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation where, with the support of the Board of Trustees, she established the Foundation and built an endowment of nearly £11 million for the long term support of communities across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. A further £7 million in small grants was also distributed to over 2,000 small local charities and community groups around the county.

Her work at the Community Foundation introduced her to the Saints Foundation. Toni is passionate about all sport especially football and was impressed with how the Saints Foundation used football to address some of the difficult challenges facing local communities across the South East. Toni soon became a supporter of their work and now as a trustee supports the Foundation with guidance on charitable matters including good governance.

Toni chaired the BBC Trust’s Audience Council England: South Panel for three years (2013-2015) and was a mentor for the Hampshire School of Social Entrepreneurs. She is currently a trustee for the Blue Lamp Trust, the Bordon Charity, and the Saints Foundation. She lives with her husband, Andrew, in Basingstoke and as well as being passionate about football, loves history and is a keen walker.
